Technical Skills

week one
I struggled with these tasks. I think due to my dyslexia and dyspraxia I found it hard to follow the measurements and be accurate with my outcomes.

I hope to improve in these subjects.
week two
Week two had us looking at paper art. We looked at examples of patterns cut into papers and how lighting them affects them and can add dramatic effects.

Our final piece for this week was to make a paper sculpture of a coat of arms.

YOU AS A PAPER TOY!

For our final project of the week we had to design ourselves as a paper toy. We had to produce a A4 net that had instructions on how to make up the toy.

First I did some research into paper toy artist.
Project Brief

Design a 3D paper toy to be presented as a net cutout, alongside a 3D model of the toy.
Haruki Nakamura "This artist draws inspiration from origami to create figurines that unfold or come to life when they are thrown or touched."

I found it difficult to create my own net and based mine off one I found on the internet.
