Hot Foot- Brief

I first read through the brief and highlighted the parts that stood out to me as a designer. Looking through, I have pulled out words and phrases with which I can start my research.

First, I started by googling kids' clubs that exist in the UK now.

After asking people what they thought was the best name for the group, "Power Chords" came out on top. With this name, I started developing designs that would suit this name; it reminded me of "The PowerRangers", so I got into that—and decided to use colours and different "rangers" to show different age groups.

I am making the characters based on the chords. I also examine how people remember the chords "Eddie Ate Dynamite, Goodbye Eddie" EADGBE. I am making seven characters using the seven chords in different popular genres.
Each character has a name and a genre, and the name relates to different famous people (Groups) within that genre.
